This week's movie topic is all about Bugs...
What are your picks for movies with the creepy bugs???
1. Arachnophobia (1990): Great movie with John Goodman and Jeff Daniels on mutating deadly spiders killing a small town. It definitely creeped me out and gave me the heebie jeebies!
2. A Bug's Life (1998): Cute computer animated story on how the little bugs can beat the big ones!
3. The Wasp Woman (1959): This one is in our collection of Horror Classics that we watch every Halloween. A woman uses an experimental cosmetic made from wasp eggs or something like that and turns into....you guessed it a giant wasp lady that kills all of her coworkers! Great and cheesy fun!
4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002): The really big ginormous spiders in this movie were really icky. I can see why Won-Won has nightmares about them...!
5 Word Movie Weekly Wrap-up
The Mask of Zorro (1998): Banderas is my foxy zorro!
While You Were Sleeping (1995): classic one-liners, romantic and funny!
First, I must address a comment that you just left on my post...What do you mean you've never seen Silence of the Lambs?! This cannot be true, can it? You must! I expect to see your 5 word review of this movie next Monday. Consider it homework ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd While You Were Sleeping is one of my favorite romantic comedies :)
Another list with A Bug's Life! Sigh... I am going to have to track this movie down. And don't tell Stacy, but I've never seen Silence of the Lambs either, and no intention to. *Shudder* On a positive note, While You Were Sleeping is one of my favorite romantic comedies. Love it! Thanks for visiting!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even think of Harry Potter! Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteI recently watch While You Were Sleeping for the first time and thought it was so cute.
ReplyDeletewasp woman - what a hoot
ReplyDeleteOh wow - Wasp Woman sounds like an excellent romp of a movie for a campy Halloween mood! Thanks for mentioning it.
ReplyDeleteThe Mask of Zorro is soo good. I love that movie too. I also enjoyed watching Harry Potter, but do have to admit that after seeing it for three times it gets boring! :(
ReplyDeleteOh I love A Bug's Life. It's such a cute, funny movie!
