We had a very warm weekend and my cats loved it! They got out and got dirty and enjoyed the sun. Then Nala came back in and puked up all the grass she ate...oh, Nala...
May we enjoy the sun as much as these two!
Does your kitties go out on leashes? How cool is that! Elza knows that she shouldn't be out in the sun too much with her white fur. But she still loves playing outside.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week and take care!

Yes. We don't live in an area that's conducive to letting our kitties out so I try to get them out with leashes when I can.
DeleteAwww! So cute. The throwing up...that's exactly what Arya would do.
ReplyDeleteI have a harness and leash for Merida. She liked going out last year, but one time the sun got to be too much and I had to move her into the shade with me on the porch. lol She's too funny. Hopefully, she will still take to it this year. I don't even bother with Arya. She's too high strung...it would freak her out.
My black kitty is a lot like that. She'll run on the leash to the nearest tree but then gets too hot and heads back to the porch pretty quickly! lol.
DeleteI definitely don't take them for walks or anything! I researched training them for walks and realized it would take about a year of consistent training to reach that point and gave up! too lazy on my end.
I'm glad they had fun outside! Sorry about the puke, though. My dog does the exact same thing.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder why she eats the grass when she knows she'll puke it up every time! lol
DeleteDo your cats come back if they go outside? Or do you need to put them on leashes? I always worry about cats and critters such as coyotes etc. But our cats - growing up - always loved the outdoors!
ReplyDeleteI can't let them out in my area; it's just too dangerous. So I try to take them out as much as possible with the leashes. It helps keep them from running off too far.
