Black Swan

Whoa! This movie was intense. It's one of the best I've seen in a really long time and it's a movie I never ever want to see again. Natalie Portman is just amazing in this one. I worried about her after her lackluster performance in the prequels of Star Wars...(OK, I can't really blame just her...). She wholeheartedly deserves her Oscar nomination. I have plans on seeing the other nominees soon so I can't quite judge the other ladies. It's just an amazing movie. This movie is movie art. This is part of what movie making is all about. Pure awesomeness.

  1. Glad to hear that it's great! I really want to see this one too in the cinema, but there are so many other great movies playing. ;)

  2. I'm sure this movie is brilliant, but I'm a bit creeped out by it and therefore haven't seen it yet. Gonna wait for the DVD on this one. From the clips I've seen, Natalie Portman is very deserving of all the accolades she's been receiving.

  4. Love that you loved it that much but don't ever want to see it again! My parents went to it--my mom hated it so much that if the bench in the lobby had been more comfortable, she said, she would have gone out there with her book!

  5. It's movie art at its best. Just amazing acting and script but horribly depressing. Kind of like Saving Private Ryan or Schindler's List...excellent movies but never ever want to see them again.
