One who has committed some sins and yet is able to come out on top, which is why I still enjoyed the book despite not liking the main characters tremendously. No, the main character isn't all that likable, but I loved how the tension builds throughout the book.<br /><br />My edition has the last cover you posted, the one with the blue R - I purposely picked something other than the bright red one.
